ECHS News ECHS Photo Gallery About Early College High Schools Activities and Athletics Student Menus About Early College High School An Early College High School” was created by Deming Public Schools to provide a challenging academic program in a smaller setting for students who want to get a head start on their future. This is how it will work: Students will complete core required credits during their first two years of high school and then take only dual credit (college) classes their last two years. The goal is to graduate from high-school with a head start on a college or career-tech pathway and have an associate degree by the time they graduate high school. There are over 20 early college high schools state-wide and it is time that Deming has the same opportunities to succeed as other communities. We may be small, but we have big hearted students with big goals and it is time to raise the bar with an Early College high school. We are accepting applications now for the sixth class of 50 rising 9th graders. I know you will have lots of questions, and so I am including more details below and my contact information.
